About your teacher
I've been learning and playing piano for over 11 years, beginning in primary school and completing all eight ABRSM practical piano grades. Alongside practical piano training, I've also developed a strong foundation in music theory, giving me a well-rounded understanding of music.
Over the years, my own learning and performance experience has shaped the way I teach. I've spent over 4 years teaching students of different ages and levels, from complete beginners discovering the piano for the first time to students working towards ABRSM exams. My approach is patient and structured, while still making sure lessons feel enjoyable and personal.
Whether you want to learn your favourite songs, build a strong foundation, prepare for an exam, or simply become more confident at the piano, we'll work towards your goals at a pace that works for you.

A few clips of me at the piano — a sense of my playing, technique, and experience, straight from the source.
ABRSM Piano Exam preparation
Exam prep is genuinely sequential — here's how a typical journey through the grades is structured.
How lessons work
Before you begin
No pressure, no prep required — just come as you are.
Fill in the form below with a bit about yourself or your child, and I'll reply within a day or two to find a time.
We'll chat about your goals, I'll get a feel for your current level, and we'll spend most of the time actually playing.
Based on the trial, we'll agree on a pace, a format, and whether exam prep makes sense — then start regular weekly lessons.
Good to know
Not at all — most students start as complete beginners. Lessons are built from the ground up, whatever your starting point.
I teach students of all ages, from young children through adults. Lessons are paced to the individual student, not a fixed age group.
Yes, some form of practice instrument at home makes a real difference between lessons. A full-size keyboard with weighted or semi-weighted keys works well if an acoustic piano isn't an option.
Both. In-person lessons happen at my living room studio in Bengaluru; online lessons run live over video call for students further afield or with busier schedules.
Yes — many students start with Foundations and move into exam preparation once they're ready. We'll talk through timing together when it feels right.
Once a week is standard, with twice a week available for students who want to progress faster or are actively preparing for an exam.
From students & parents
My daughter went from refusing to practise to asking for extra time at the piano.
My son used to be bored and uninterested, but now he loves learning new songs every week.
